Support the work of the Mendelssohn on Mull Trust

Mendelssohn on Mull Festival receives no statutory funding and performances are free for all to attend. We therefore have to raise all the funds to present the Festival ourselves. This year the Mendelssohn on Mull Trust needs to raise in excess of £50,000 to do this, and in so doing provide a unique opportunity for a group of young artists to benefit from the experience of playing together with world class professionals.

Our main source of funding is the money raised by our community of loyal Friends and Guardians who each year contribute over £20,000 towards the costs of staging the Festival. We are grateful to receive further support from a number of charitable trusts and foundations and we are pleased to attract further funds through the generosity of our audiences who are inspired to give donations at each concert.

The Festival also benefits from the support of the UK Friends of the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Foundation.

We thank them all sincerely. However, we continue to fundraise in order to present the Festival each year, and also to provide some stability for the future so that we can continue to help young professionals and their more established colleagues make music together, and in so doing provide a magical annual Festival experience for our ever-growing loyal audiences in a stunning natural environment.
